|Body Makeover - Cellulite Treatment* £35.00|
Now I think there are two types of people when it comes to cellulite creams/treatments. People who want them to work and will buy most that they see and hope for results (me) or people who think you can't get rid of cellulite with a transdermal treatment. I actually am more in the middle, I want to believe that cellulite treatments work but deep down I always have this sinking feeling that they won't.
That being said, I was talking to them on twitter (nicest company ever, so personal and probably one of the sweetest companies that I've ever worked with) and they offered to send me a tube of their Body Makeover Cellulite Treatment, KNOWING my skepticism because they have that much faith in their product. That alone to me was impressive and I was SUPER excited to try the product.
The tube I have looks slightly different than the one listed on the website because in the midst of testing this product out they rebranded from Cloud 9 to Cloud 9 Skin Solutions. This brand amazes me because it is a very new brand that just started out last year (which I NEVER would have guessed by the professionalism of their website and quality of the product) and they have already gained a very large following and just reading their testimonial page shows how good and well loved their products are.
On to the product! This product comes out as a clear gel which you massage in to your skin in the morning and evening. I have been focusing the product on my inner thighs, my butt, and my arms (the batwing area) I don't have pictures of before and after because I'm not posting pictures of my butt on the internet. I do a lot of things for the sake of blogging but that isn't one of them haha.
So you rub the gel into your skin until it is absorbed and then rub in circular motions for as long as possible. It says for 10-15 minutes but I have found around 5-10 minutes works best because you can turn on a youtube video and rub the gel in, and by the time the video is done your time is up! When you rub in the gel your skin will probably turn a little red (or more red depending on how sensitive/pale your skin is) and when I rub it in I get this nice tightening feeling (who doesn't love that?!)
The reason you need to rub the gel in for so long in circular moments is to get more blood flow to the area and to work the product into your skin really well so it can take full effect. Have you ever put lotion on before you went to the gym, and then when you start sweating you sweat the lotion out? Sounds gross but happened to me once and then I didn't put lotion on before working out anymore, but the idea is so that this treatment gets past the pores of your skin and deep down to actually take effect.
