Hey guys! So I asked on twitter if anyone would like to see pictures I took on vacation this summer and a few people said yes! So here are pictures from my trip to Vegas! We live only 3 hours away (driving) so we go to Vegas a LOT. We used to go probably 4 times a year, so I know that place like the back of my hand.
We stayed at New York New York this time (the hotel with the roller coaster) so a lot of the pictures are from that hotel, but there's a variety of places all over Vegas. Hope you enjoy!
Near the elevators inside New York New York
If you've never been to NYNY or seen the inside of the hotel, they have a huge food area that has different restaurants fro all over New York in the cutest little maze of buildings, so I took quite a few pictures in there (and ate A LOT there).
It doesn't scream New York without hot dogs eh?
As a chocolate lover, of course I went in :)
It took so much will power to resist these inside Hershey World.
Here's a shot of part of the strip.
This is taken from the sky bridge leading back from MGM to NYNY (and look at that roller coaster, MAN was it fun but it also gave you severe whiplash).
AND you can't have a NY hotel without a Statue of Liberty replica...the closest I've ever been LOL #westcoastforever
The view out of my hotel window at night.
The iconic MGM lion with a shot of the Tropicana in the back.
THIS PLACE. If you know me or read my blog you know I adore ice cream, so if you're in Vegas you NEED to go to Blvd Creamery. It's organic and natural and has the best flavors.
I had watermelon sorbet! The temperature was not my ice cream's friend...110 F thanks! I love the heat but my ice cream did not!
Now we're out of NYNY and some of you may recognize what I consider the most beautiful ceiling in Las Vegas (I have loved it since I was 5), the stained glass flowers at The Bellagio!
A shot of Paris, with a corner of Planet Hollywood sneaking in the right side (did anyone ever watch Holly's World?)
Too poor to afford, but how can you not take a picture of something that beautiful! I had a fun time walking through the high end outlet looking at all the things I'll never be able to afford lol.
Here's my little brother, of course he had to get a picture in this "chair". Yes little brother, he's only 16! Isn't that crazy?
One of my favorite hotels from when I was younger (for all the games of course!) Excalibur!
And we went to the shark reed in Mandalay Bay (here's my brother again)
I absolutely adore sharks, so how could we not go to the aquarium!
Please excuse my hair, the pool at NYNY is salt water, aka frizz central. But here is the sting ray pool. I was just admiring them, I hate the people that manhandle them so here's me pre-yelling at people to stop torturing them by grabbing them :(
The gorgeous ceiling at The Venetian!
Another sight to behold! The gondolas in the middle of the shopping and restaurants inside The Venetian!
Look how cute these are- they're SOAPS! And bath bombs and everything cute you could ever want in your bathroom.
A closer picture, I love the sun in the background peeking out behind the clouds :)
Serendipity 3! I hope you guys have heard of this restaurant. It's in New York and is famous for their frozen hot chocolate and it also has the most expensive sundae in the world topped with 24k gold! It also has a 3 hour standby wait if you go to the one in New York, this one was only about an hour.
There are only 3 of them in the US: New York, Miami, and Vegas!
Naturally we had the frozen hot chocolates! I also had a bacon and blue cheese burger, ohmygoodness it was heaven.
Last but not least the awesome view I had at Serendipity 3 of the Flamingo! (best seafood buffet in Vegas by the way if you guys were wondering)
I tried to narrow down a LOT of my pictures from Vegas, also I had JUST gotten my new camera so I was testing out different settings etc. What do you guys think?
Hope you enjoyed looking through this! (Especially because I plan on posting a few more!) Let me know!
