Street to Chic

Black Fringe Purse - Target (last season)
Cream Button Down Top - Thrifted

Hey everyone! I always love doing posts where there's an easy change up from day to night because I know being a med student if I go out to a nice dinner or school event etc. in the evening it's probably RIGHT after my class ended (I usually have classes from 8am-6pm give or take a few hours).

I know not everyone is still in school, but this also can be super helpful for the work days where you want to go out with your friends and get a drink after because instead of changing your entire look and having to bring an entire outfit with you, all I used to change was a pair of heels, cardigan, and a small purse instead of my backpack (but sometimes you already have the purse with you).

Cream Button Down Top - Thrifted

So this is what I wore to class, just some comfy leggings, a sweater with a button down underneath it (mainly to prevent that whole wind blowing through the knit in the sweater ordeal), some boots with socks poking through the top, and a messy bun to just get my hair out of my face.

Comfy, but (semi) cute- which is how I generally dress for class (or I look like a homeless person...)

Fast forward to my speed quick change! All I did was take off my sweater, add the cardigan/jacket, and swap my backpack for a person and I'm good to go! If you wanted you could probably wear a darker lip to go with it as well, but I felt fancy enough!

Do you guys have any quick change tips like this? I think for changing two things this turned out wonderfully. It makes life a lot easier if you just have to change your shoes and a jacket rather than drag a complete outfit with you, wherever you may be!

Sorry for the lack of posts this month, I swear all of my teachers plan together and put their tests all at  the same time, same week, just to kill us!!! On the bright side it's almost Thanksgiving (which I don't have off, sad face), and then it's acceptable for me to change my phone background to a Charlie Brown Christmas background :) I hope your weekend is treating you well!
