Hey everyone! (The most amazing eyeliner out there...see what I did there, since it's called the amazing eyeliner) Today I'm going to be talking about my all time favorite liner (out of liquid, gel, and pencil) the Makeup Revolution Waterproof Liner. I bought this eyeliner on a whim because I wanted to see how it lived up to its "waterproof" claims because the last "waterproof" liner I had was literally the worst liner in the world. It was buy Collection 2000 in a blue little bottle and crumbled off of my wings almost immediately and crumbled more the more I blinked. I wouldn't say ANY makeup is waterproof but there is some that is pretty damn resistant.
So I was shopping on Makeup Revolution, saw this little bad boy, looked at the wand and saw how black it was in the swatches and was like okay hey lets give it a try. If it sucks I wasted £1.50, it's not the end of the world. Like I've said before I've never run into a bad Makeup Revolution product and this is no exception, I was addicted to my Inglot gel eyeliner but MOVE OVER Inglot, I've been using this one every time I've worn eyeliner since I got it in summer (and it still hasn't dried up, run out, I'm still scraping product off of the wand in fact and its been 5 months at least-so that's also amazing).
I don't know what the deal is but it is so much harder to swatch an eyeliner for me on the back of my hand than it is to do an actual cat eye or line my eyes, but this was with just one dip and lightly touching my hand- I got this many swipes of the liner.
I love this liner SO much that I bought one of my best friends one for Christmas and the second she used it she texted me spazzing out about how fabulous it was. She always texts me for recommendations on liquid eyeliners and I always want to tell her this one- but now she finally has it.
You may recognize this picture from one of my recent posts about the Makeup Revolution Peach Lights highlighter which you can find here, but this liner is no joke- every picture you've seen of me since summer whether it be fashion or makeup with any type of liner on it has been this one.
I have two more examples below (one i'm more tanned in because it was in the middle of summer and one is more recent and it is currently snowing so I am back to my paleness in all it's glory! If you guys want to see more posts for pale skin now that I've lost my tan I'd be glad to do them, just let me know!)
This is from the makeup look that I did where I wore that beautiful long kimono with the shorts (I think)- I'll link that fashion post here.
Same picture different angle. Here's the thing guys, I SUCK at liquid liner and look how sharp and crisp I got those edges. No bumps or lumps along the lid either. The fact that I'm able to use any liner except my Maybelline Line Stiletto (that's the only one I used before this and I didn't use it that often) is amazing because I don't have a proper makeup mirror which you need to do liquid liner, I use the mirrors in my palettes, so I'm basically free handing the liner.
This liner is so fab because it has such a fine liner that you can really get into your inner corners and if you want you can stay SUPER close to the lash line just if you want a thicker lash look, but it also can hold a lot of product if you don't really scrape off the applicator (it's somewhere in between a sponge like the Maybelline one and a brush, its neither one but in that general area) you can really fill in the gap on the wing or do a thicker line and it spreads out very evenly.
Here I am paler (pale girls say heyyyy), with a little less of a wing but you can still see how straight I was able to get this line by free handing it mid air and it takes me about 0.2 seconds to do.
