Hey everyone! (The most amazing eyeliner out there...see what I did there, since it's called the amazing eyeliner) Today I'm going to be talking about my all time favorite liner (out of liquid, gel, and pencil) the Makeup Revolution Waterproof Liner. I bought this eyeliner on a whim because I wanted to see how it lived up to its "waterproof" claims because the last "waterproof" liner I had was literally the worst liner in the world. It was buy Collection 2000 in a blue little bottle and crumbled off of my wings almost immediately and crumbled more the more I blinked. I wouldn't say ANY makeup is waterproof but there is some that is pretty damn resistant.
So I was shopping on Makeup Revolution, saw this little bad boy, looked at the wand and saw how black it was in the swatches and was like okay hey lets give it a try. If it sucks I wasted £1.50, it's not the end of the world. Like I've said before I've never run into a bad Makeup Revolution product and this is no exception, I was addicted to my Inglot gel eyeliner but MOVE OVER Inglot, I've been using this one every time I've worn eyeliner since I got it in summer (and it still hasn't dried up, run out, I'm still scraping product off of the wand in fact and its been 5 months at least-so that's also amazing).

I ♡ Makeup I am... Palettes*
Hey everyone! Today I am coming at you with one of the most ingenious little palettes (or palette range) that I've ever seen. Basically these palettes are themed according to their name, and when you open them up there are 6 eyeshadows that all correspond and a lipstick that you would most likely wear with that look. I have swatched and have pictures of all four of these palettes in this post so beware it is a touch picture heavy (I warned you, but it's worth it!)
These palettes are also on sale for £4.99 instead of £5.99 so I would jump on it. Okay I did the funniest thing, I had my dad basically swatch similar colors from the Urban Decay palettes and tell me which one he thought was higher quality, I didn't tell him anything about either one just told him which shadows to stick his fingers into and put on his hand, and Makeup Revolution won everytime! Which is fantastic- also a disclaimer there is an actual dupe for Stila Kitten in the I am Naked palette, and we all know that eyeshadow shatters if you sneeze wrong, and Maggie (my puppy- you should know who she is by now she's all over every social media site I have) accidentally jumped on my bed and this fell off and the Kitten dupe shattered but I repressed it! And even though the palette looks a little worse for wear, the shadows are still the exact same quality as when I got it, the kitten looking shadow is just a little emptier and looks a bit sadder (but the swatches were done after I repressed the shadow!)

Hey everyone! Finally on Christmas break and back to posting! :) First off i wanted to start out with a lipstick I've been wearing almost every single day- the Neve Cosmetics Dessert A Levres lipstick in Almond Cookie. I was sent some mineral makeup from Mineral Makeup Boutique to try out, and this was definitely the star of the show as I can't put it down. When I think of mineral makeup I always think of the old Bare Mineral days with the powders, or the infomercials where they would say "Just tap the product in the lid, swirl, and then apply to your face! You need so little!" or even worse the stands in the mall that try and drag you in to try their makeup that is ridiculously overpriced.
I DEFINITELY didn't think of lipsticks and lipliners- and since let's face it, we all end up eating our lipstick and liner- it gets in your mouth, so why not have it be more natural and contain ingredients that are good for you? If you've been hanging around my blog for a while you know I'm always ready to try a product that contains more natural ingredients. This particular one says it contains natural ingredients, shea butter, and oils to nourish your lips. I love this line as all of the lipsticks have dessert themed names, and kind of the same coloring and it literally is dessert for your lips- this one is Almond Cookie (Yum!)

Hello ladies! I think everyone here can safely say we all love and use highlighters, some of us use them on more parts of our faces than others, but that's okay too! The deal with highlighters I think is whether they are too strong, too weak, don't show up at all, are too glittery, too shimmery-there are a lot of boxes to tick when looking for the perfect highlighter (my favorite is Mary Lou-Manizer I mentioned it in my current obsessions post you can read here)

My fluffy pony, my fluffy pony... Just kidding does anyone remember those My Little Pony commercials though? If you follow me on twitter it is a well known fact that I wash my hair MAYBE once a week (it sounds gross, it's not!) but let's be honest, it does get greasy so we have to come up with ways to camouflage the grease.

I probably do own more than the average person, and I like to get my good use out of it so I'm constantly using different products and doing different looks but lately I've noticed a trend and there have been the same products I've been reaching for over and over so I figured it was FINALLY time to do a favorites post, as I had enough "favorites" to share!

If you follow me on twitter (follow here!) you know that for the past three months (except right now weirdly enough) I've been rocking the white nails (matte, shiny, I've done it all). I think it makes you look classy and pulled together without even trying (which I definitely need help with-I'm a mess 99.9% of my life). Another reason I wear lighter colors is because it isn't as noticeable when the polish chips! #protip
So, we've all heard about gel nails, acrylic nails, do it yourself nails, people doing their own nails who shouldn't be and don't know how, "almost" gel nails, and the list goes on....Recently I was contacted by a brand called Madam Glam that only makes nail products (and ships internationally) and was asked if I would like to try their gel nail starter kit. I've been wanting to try out gel polish for a while now, but the only reason I haven't gotten into them is because buying the entire kit (you need a base coat, nail color, and a top coat to give yourself a proper gel manicure) is expensive! So when they offered to send me the kit I jumped at the chance naturally, AND I have a coupon code for 30% of their polishes that I'm going to list at the end of the post to hopefully help you guys out if you were having the same dilemma as I was, and also with the holidays coming up I think it would make a really nice gift.
