Oops I'm Running Late | OOTD & MOTD

 Cardigan + Shirt - Thrifted
Jeans - Target

Hey everyone! I just thought that I'd share with you the types of clothes that I wear to class and makeup I slap on when you roll out of bed and can't see straight and are just stumbling around your room trying to get dressed.

I cut my legs off because I was wearing ugly lab shoes (hi crocs! I sin) but I usually will wear a shirt, cardigan, jeans, riding boots, and a high bun or a pulled together pony tail like I showed how I do in like 0.2 seconds in one of my recent posts you can find here.

The outfit is super simple but somehow always manages to look pulled together and I can find it in my closet while I'm half asleep. With my hair pulled up and out of the way it also makes it easier to do my makeup, so that is a little time saving tip too!

For the face I basically used all of the products in my Current Obsessions post and I just did an entire post dedicated to this little beauty of a liner, so if you missed it you can find it here, it's from Makeup Revolution, one of my favorite brands, is £1.50, super black, super easy to use (because I swear to god I suck at eyeliner but now am able to include it in my oops I'm running late post) and doesn't crack off or crumble at the wing.

As always I warmed up my face with my MAC Warm Soul blush and polished the lips off with my Neve Almond Cookie lipstick which I also did a post on (love it) here and for my brows I used my trusty Inglot Brow Shaping Pencil - like I said all products that are in my current obsessions post really.

I wanted to do a mega closeup of the eyes because when I went into Inglot to buy Christmas presents, they gave me two free mini eyeshadows from their new spring line! I couldn't figure out which name was which shadow as it just had all of the names listed on the back and not on the actual shadows, but the one on top is more of a taupe shimmer, and then I ran a bright amber colored shimmery shadow underneath my lashes, applied my winged liner, mascara, and was good to go!

Super easy and quick but it makes you look very pulled together- which is basically the story of my life, how can I do something quick and easy and still make it look like I spent super long on it..... Shh don't tell anyone.

Hope you guys liked this short little post! Haven't really been doing OOTDs because on break I've been chilling in yoga pants and sweatshirts packing to move apartments- but I had this one stored from before the break! (Oh, and happy New Year! I hope everyone was safe and not hungover xx)

  8. The title of this post is the story of my life! I love the outfit, especially the cardigan - it looks like the coziest thing ever. :)

  9. mine too haha that's why I figured I'd be the perfect person to write about it haha! I've mastered it from doing it daily lol

  10. You have officially mastered the high bun. For some reason my hair just does not like me doing that to it.

  11. its bobby pins!!!!! thats the trick!!!!!!!! don't use a hair tie at all!!!!! maybe use one to put it up in a pony tail, but then wrap it and use bobby pins to secure and it never fails me

Thank you for reading and taking the time to comment! I'll try and reply as quickly as I can :)
