Mr. Bean Coffee Scrub | Review

Coconut Coffee Scrub - Mr. Bean* $17.95 | €14.95 | £13.95

I'm sure you've all heard of coffee scrubs by now, they've been sweeping across the world like a firestorm, but today I'm reviewing the Mr. Bean Coffee Scrub. The thing I like about coffee scrubs is that they are all natural, and since there is an oil added to get the coffee to basically stick together it is moisturizing and makes taking a fake tan off really easy.

This is the inside of the box, the packaging is super cute and I love the detailing they put into it instead of just putting it into a cardboard box and sending it off.

With every scrub there are always claims that they make, here are the ones Mr. Bean makes:

• Caffeine will stimulate blood flow and help reduce the appearance of cellulite, eczema, stretch marks, age spots, varicose veins and psoriasis.
• Demerra Sugar and Himalayan Salt will exfoliate your skin, removing dead skin, acne, whiteheads, blackheads, breakouts and other skin blemishes
• Coconut Oil will hydrate and moisturize your skin
• Cocoa and Vitamin E are high in antioxidants which nourish and protect the skin, promoting cell repair and rejuvenation

I can't vouch for the stretch mark claims, but I do use the scrub on my face and I haven't had any breakouts. So the second claim I can say really does work, my skin looks super rejuvenated and almost glowing after using this. The coconut oil does moisturize very well, and if you're wearing fake tan it takes it off super easily (so don't use it if you don't want your tan to come off). So almost all of the claims that they make I can easily say hold up their end and work.

A word of caution, once you're done with this scrub it will look like you took a pile of dirt and threw it all over your shower. It makes your shower soooo dirty and a tad slippery, but hosing it down fixes that right away. (I tried to get a picture of the product but it wouldn't work in the black packaging and the coffee grounds, but it basically looks like coffee grounds/dirt).

They have four scrubs, Coconut, Mandarin, MAN SCRUB, and a Berry scrub for Breast Cancer Awareness which I think is really important and special that they did that-it even comes in pink packaging.

All in all I can't fault this scrub. I come out of the shower moisturized, not scaly, without cracking off fake tan if I'm trying to get it off, and in a way just radiant. I would DEFINITELY give this a try,  especially if you are an avid fake tanner. I also use this as a fake tan prep-I'll shave and use this scrub, and then tan the next night so the coconut oil doesn't block the tan from working.

Have you guys given in to the hype and tried coffee scrubs? I'm currently trying another one and will report back soon. I personally love them so far!
