This fragrance holds a very special place in my heart, my brother bought it for me as he was going through Charles de Gaulle airport in France (the best airport in the world by the way it smells straight up like perfume and I adore France as a country).
Regardless of the memory this perfume holds for me I absolutely ADORE it. You know how there are those few perfumes where every time you wear it you get compliments on it? EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. There must be some kind of magic in this bottle because I get so many compliments on this it's ridiculous. Compliments aside, the only way to describe it to you (before I give you all the top notes, base notes etc.) is that it smells womanly, but cozy, but also sophisticated. I feel like it's something Serena van der Woodsen would wear - does that make sense? Like it envelops you with such a beautiful smell that stays around for SUCH a long time (I wouldn't expect anything less from Armani) that it is well worth the investment. I like perfumes that are vanilla based, like Dior Hypnotic Poison for example, or I like rose based perfumes (or perfumes that have something to do with beach scents). This one is definitely along the lines of vanilla and warm, but there are a few floral undertones in there that kind of give it some depth, like it's not just a flat vanilla scent.
Freesia, May Rose
Vanilla, Patchouli, Amber, Woody Notes
Like I said previously I definitely gravitate towards vanilla perfumes and when I really get into the absentees of my perfumes there's almost always some type of rose, vanilla, amber, patchouli, and bergamot. They may not all be in one perfume but I keep seeing those notes over and over in my favorites so I sense a trend. This perfume smells like heaven, it will last forever, if you spray it in your hair it will stay in your hair until you wash it again and that's pretty impressive. Most perfumes I find myself re-spritzing myself halfway through the day with it- but this one you only need one spray and you're good to go.
Do you guys have this perfume? If not do yourself a favor and go smell it next time you're in a store if you like warmer more vanilla based scents. But it's almost not a warm scent because the floral in there makes it wearable day or night and through all the seasons.
Usually Armani perfumes for me are one season perfumes, but this one I have been wearing year round and loving it the entire time (it just looks so full because you only need one spray!)
